1.  During World War 11, Rosie and her family and other folks from Mayfield, Indiana collected goodwill items to send to Olst in Holland.     

2. In this very funny story, a pathetic magician finds a very unlikely partner.

 3. A musician expresses music through the sounds he hears around him.

 4. Having collections is lots of fun, but don’t often amount to much monetarily or isn’t practical. The collection this man had however, led to a very prestigious job.

 5. Vermont seasons are looked at fondly in this beautifully illustrated book written by a Vermont author and illustrated by a Vermont illustrator.

 6.  Circles can be found throughout this beautiful black and white illustrated Red Clover winner.

 7.  In this book, the narration is told from the 1st person point of view, but the narrator is not a person!

 8.  When there is a problem, writing letters can help resolve the situation. Writing letters can also be quite funny when it involves animals.

 9.  Traveling through the segregated South in the 1960’s would have been quite nerve-wracking and certainly not very easy.
